Playing sports helps to reduce stress
In today’s world of fierce competition, there are a lot of daily challenges increasing our level of stress and anxiety. How can we cope with this? Some people claim that the best way to cut the risk of stress is doing sports, whereas others stick to the opposite opinion.
From my way of thinking, the benefits of sports for our physical and mental condition are abundant. Firstly, doing sports is a great way to distract from daily worries and problems, which are the main trigger of stress. Secondly, people usually do not do sports alone. It means playing sports is a great opportunity to make new friends, which is very useful in reducing the stress.
However, there is a wide spread opinion that doing sports during the depression is not helpful but rather harmful.
