A person who is fluent in a foreign language can easily work as an interpreter.
In today's world of well-developed international communication a lot of people know foreign languages. Some human beings tend to think that they are able to be interpreters without a special education but others do not agree.
To my mind, being fluent in a foreign language does not provide an ability to work as an interpreter. Firstly, there is some kind of specific vocabulary that a person can learn only in an appropriate educational institution, therefore, they may have a lack of knowledge of many words which are necessary to know for an interpreter. Secondly, this profession demands special skills, for example, an ability to simultaneously translate, which a person can master only studying in the university.
