The role of classroom teacher and teaching methods are being widely discussed. Some people are sure that only  pleasurable lessons can motivate students; others consider this not to be obligatory in education. Who is right?

Personally, I think that teachers should try to make their lessons not only educational but enjoyable as well. Firstly, bright and interesting lessons help children to memorize the material better. Secondly,  non-traditional forms of lessons combined with new teaching technologies such as interactive computer lessons, games, role-plays, virtual excursions help children better to socialise and foster motivation.Thirdly, relaxed classrom atmosphere allows to involve in the process of learning even not quick learners with minimum participation of the teacher.

Nevertheless, some people think that education and fun are incompatible. They claim that children should not be entertained while taugh
